Rob Mason is a Computer Science student from Nottingham, UK. He currently works for Siemens Enterprise Communications in the Applications Integration team. His expertise lie in .NET technologies, although he cannot stand VB.NET! He also has a good knowledge of Java, C++, and website design.
At 14 years of age, Rob started designing websites for local companies, leading on to helping with networking and hardware issues. This was put on hold when he enrolled at Nottingham Trent university to study Computer Science, scoring straight 1sts in his 1st and 2nd year modules.
In July 2008, Rob was invited onto the Microsoft Student Partner programme. He was also appointed as NTU Computing and Informatics Ambassador.
In his spare time, Rob likes to spend time with his girlfriend Krystina. He also works for a local building group, designing and maintaining their many websites.
